Arg! Again!
Do I just not get what you all are trying to do here? I keep trying to get this base to be about information, as in a database, and I keep bumping into this view stuff...

See the thing with the circle on it? How the heck do I get that to look like an expendable list? As in, a list of books? As in, not a picture of several books?
Really, is this just about eye-candy? I want something that actually allows me to show information in different ways. I do not need something that only allows me to show pictures in different ways....

If you click on that circled thing (let's call it the "view thumbnail"), you'll see this table. Is that what you want?
Note that by clicking on "Edit view" (upper right), you can add/remove columns, filter, and perform other functions to show exactly what you want.
